On the 5th April 2024, peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Anne Sloan. A loving wife of Jim and much-loved mother of Wayne and Shelley. Service to be held at Roucan Loch Crematorium on Monday 29th of April at 2.00 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited to attend. Attendees are invited to wear smart/casual colourful attire should they wish. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

SPENCE, Lynda Florence

On 5th April 2024, passed peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Lynda Florence Spence of Johnstone Court, Lockerbie (formerly of Brydekirk). Much loved mother of Helen and Duncan, a dear grandmother, and friend to many. All family and friends are invited to the service in Lochmaben Parish Church on Tuesday 30th of April at 12.30pm. For those wishing to attend there will be an additional short Committal service at Roucan Loch Crematorium at 2pm after which we would welcome you all to gather at The Powfoot hotel to celebrate Lynda’s life. SCOTT, Ralph MacDonald

On 31st March 2024, peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Ralph MacDonald Scott of 91-93 High Street, Lockerbie (Cafe’ 91). Beloved husband of Adele and loving father to Callum and Greg. Service to be held at Roucan Loch Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd of April at 12.00 noon, to which all friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Respiratory Unit and Critical Care at DGRI.

CHALMERS, Catherine

At D.G.R.I. on Tuesday 9th April 2024. Peacefully in her sleep with family by her side. Much loved wife of the late John, loving mother of Neil and Andrew, cherished grandmother and great grandmother and friend to many. Funeral service private at Catherines request. Family flowers only please donations if desired to Ward D7 at D.G.R.I. Special thanks to all the hospital staff who looked after Catherine with such care and respect.
